Logos Academy Hosts Award Winning Singer-Songwriter, Caitlin Linney

Hollywood based Singer-Songwriter Caitlin Linney will be a Musician in Residence at Logos Academy, together with her percussionist/producer Jeff Schoeny next week! Residence will begin with a songwriting workshop and end with the students recording a completed original song.

“Logos Academy is so excited to have Caitlin Linney back with our students. Her last songwriting workshop resulted in a music video and a tremendous success with students. We can’t wait to see what they accomplish this time!” – Aaron Anderson, CEO of Logos Academy

Linney is a graduate of Emerson College (Bachelor of Arts), Boston, MA and Berklee College of Music ProArts Consortium, Boston, MA. Her work can be heard on the Mitsubishi advertisements in Europe, the Aaptiv Fitness App advertisements, Opens Doors Foundation where she wrote “Call It Home,” and most recently an NBC sponsored video performing Kelly Clarkson’s “Medicine,” with YouTube star Kurt Hugo Schneider. Her most recent album was produced with Grammy Award winning Ran Jackson. Linney won first place in the John Lennon Songwriting Contest/National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) in 2016. According the Lennon Foundation, “We keep ‘Coming Back for More’ with Linney, winner of the NAMM contest, with her live performance on the main stage at the 2016 NAMM Show.” She is featured in a John Lennon Foundation music video with students of St. Brendan’s School, Miami FL. Linney just released her original single, “Outta My Heart,” on February 9th!

Linney states “I love working with students and helping them express their natural talents. Music is how I translate the world. It’s a universal language. Often a song says more than words alone ever could.”
