Meet our Advancement Team


Otto Monroy, CFRE, Vice President of Advancement

Otto joined the team at Logos Academy in 2005. He has served the school as a fundraiser and educator and after taking some time away to work in international orphan care and the church, Otto returned in 2015 to lead the Advancement Team. Previously, he served as the Vice President at Forgotten Voices International, and as the Director of Worship Arts at Grantham Church. Otto graduated with a BA in Music from Messiah College and is in progress toward a Master’s of Business Administration. He also holds a certificate in Non Profit Management from LaSalle University and is a Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE). As a child, one of his favorite memories is spending a whole afternoon building wings in an attempt to fly. This hooked him on working to make big ideas possible. Otto and his wife Erin, live in Dillsburg with their four children Orianna, Xavi, Olivia, and Andi.

Joanne web2Joanne Wilmore, Director of Cultural Inclusion and Community Engagement

Joanne received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Maryland. She has over 20 years’ experience in the not-for-profit sector working for organizations including the Maryland Zoo and Baltimore City Community College. Joanne is active in the York community with organizations including the Salvation Army, The Garden Club, and Downtown Inc.

 

Paige Fessick, Director of Tax Credit and Corporate Giving

Paige received a degree in Rehabilitation Services Education from Penn State in 1995. She brings with her over 10 years of sales and marketing experience while working with The Phillips Group. She has served on numerous boards and currently assists with the Multiple Sclerosis Walk committee. Currently, Paige is a YCEA Ambassador and a member of the Junior Achievement of South Central PA Symposium Steering Committee.

 

Katie Pershing, Donor Relations and Communications Coordinator

Katie received a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Liberty University in 2015. She has previously served in international orphan care working at Forgotten Voices International. Her most recent experience comes from Case Management Unit where she served as a Children’s Mental Health Case Manager. Katie currently lives in Mechanicsburg with her husband.

 

Lauren Wilcox, Director of Individual Giving

Lauren received a Bachelor of Arts degree from York College of Pennsylvania in 2014 and received her Certificate in Nonprofit Management from Purchase College, SUNY in 2017. Lauren is also a 2019 graduate of the Leadership York Leadership Training Program.  She has previously served at nonprofit organizations such as the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Her most recent experience comes from the York County Economic Alliance where she served as the Manager of Special Events and Corporate Relations.
